Missing a feature?

We combine vendors to fill the gaps and return one schema. We handle the patches.

Don’t see what you need in our API catalogue?

Tell us what you need. We’ll first assess whether we can build it and keep it running reliably for your use case. We only take it on if we believe we can. Then our agents build it with your access requirements in mind. This isn’t a coding agent that builds whatever you ask for.

Keep it running.

Our proprietary vendor database and agents’ live health checks guide routing and fallbacks when vendors slow down or fail.

Location, time, cost, performance, and your requirements decide the execution strategy.

An ultra-thin router. Little to no added latency is the goal.

Why we’re building Generics

Product building blocks that just work.

There are way too many options for every product building block. Choosing vendors, negotiating, integrating, and switching takes time away from your business.

Search, models, SLMs, agents, guardrails, document extraction, jobs, and more. You need them to work reliably without spending half your time figuring them out.

Software is getting easier to build. But it still needs solid infrastructure. Deploying it reliably and keeping it running is incredibly important. That’s true even for personal agents. An agent you depend on needs to work when you need it.

If a vendor slows down or starts failing, you shouldn’t have to stop working on your business to fix it. We’re building Generics to switch vendors and fall back when needed. Zero downtime is the goal.

Generics aims to give you one simple API per feature, with a common SDK. If one vendor is missing a feature, another can fill that gap. We handle the unification, compatibility, and patches so you don’t have to give up functionality or maintain multiple integrations.

Every use case has a different execution strategy. An intelligent layer indexes vendors by location, time, performance, reliability, cost, latency, and tens of other parameters. It uses that information and your requirements to decide which vendors to use, combine, or switch.

We keep our own data on each vendor and update it as things change. Agents track what’s new. Live checks tell us how each vendor performs, region by region. Over time, we learn what works for which use case, where, and when.

Use an API out of the box, or tell us about your use case upfront. We’ll personalise the fields, schema, and execution strategy, and keep adapting it over time. An ultra-thin router, with little to no added latency as the goal.

You shouldn’t have to deal with separate billing, access controls, and agreements for every vendor. With Generics, you manage them in one place, with one bill and one BAA for the use cases we support.

You shouldn’t have to wait till something breaks to find a better option. That’s the work Generics is being built to handle.

A reliability promise.
Stupidly simple UX.
